Use theatre to engage your students in dynamic exercises that explore specific topics in your Curriculum. Participate in the deep, full-bodied learning that occurs during Simulations, Reenactments, Interviews, and exciting Short Games that center around your topic.  Classes are fast paced, physically active, and heavily structured. Learn theatre skills that enhance life skills and involve your whole class in Karen De Mauro’s physically active, artistically exciting experience.

Karen De Mauro’s thirty years of teaching insure disciplined, relevant, creative encounters that combine factual information, story, myth and science in joyful thought provoking ways. Workshops are built around the topic of your choice for four workshops per day.  Topics include: Explorers, The Colonies, The American Revolution, The Civil War, Native Americans, The Rainforest, Ancient Egyptian and Greek Myths, The Middle Ages and Multicultural Story Journeys.  Each session fulfills the NY State Learning Standards and is age-appropriate.
